It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Well done to our Friendship Club for the wonderful decorations in our sensory room! The children have worked hard creating the festive display. Special thanks to Mrs. Godman and Mrs. Holt for running the friendship club each week. It is great to see the children enjoying their weekly activities.

Autism Parent support group
The first meeting will be on Tuesday 4th October at 1.30pm. Parents are welcome if your child has a diagnosis of Autism or is awaiting an ADOS assessment.

Autism Parent Support Group
Parents / Carers of a child with an Autism diagnosis, or awaiting an assessment, can attend our monthly group. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Please contact the school office for more information.

Meetings with the class teacher to agree your child’s targets for this year will take place the week after half term. (Week beginning 31st October).

Changing year groups can sometimes be a challenge for some of our pupils and we wish them well settling into their new classes. Remember if you have anything you want to discuss, please arrange an appointment to speak to the class teacher or you can get in contact with me.
My working days this term are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Maths Dots
Learning dot patterns is a great way for children, who struggle with number, to learn to count in groups. The familiar shape of dots on a dice can be used for all types of calculations. We play games at school to ensure children learn the dot patterns and what they represent. This means that when we show a pattern they can recall the number quickly, without having to count each dot.
